The Spartan-Shooter Way:
Step One: Connect to Xbox LIVE (make a Gamertag if you're not yet)
Step Two: Try buying the Noble Map Pack, its playlist gives out decent cR.
Step Three (optional): Get some friends in a Halo: Reach party with you, to make Matchmaking more fun.
Step Four: Go onto Matchmaking, choose a fast-paced playlist like Team SWAT (Average is 7 minutes per match, you can earn from 700 to 1,500 cR) or a longer playlist like Noble Map Pack or Big Team Battle (the longer a match lasts, the higher your Game Completion bonus will be).
Step Five: Play some Halo! Just keep striving to be as good as you can and earn those cR the honest way!
Alternatively:
The Covenant-Crusher Way
Step One: Connect to Xbox LIVE.
Step Two: Go onto the Firefight Arcade or Score Attack playlists.
Step Three: Slaughter some Covvies. I reccomed Gruntpocalypse and 2X Score Attack on the Score Attack playlist and FRGfight and Rocketfight on the Firefight Arcade playlist.
Result: If you put in enough time and have enough skill, you should exit the battlefield with a few thousand more cR (depending on your rank, the lower you are the smaller you cR earned per match is). IF this doesn't help, go earn some Commendations (preferably without a Target Locator/Save Revert combo on Sword Base).
Now go and buy EVA [C] or something.
You always get credits in halo reach until you reach inheritor, you only get banned if you get said credits illegally...

To get credits in Halo: Reach with a silver, or offline account, you need to play offline Campaign, Forge mode, or local Custom Games.
Well, If you are a good player you will get lots of cR (Credits). The better you are at the match the more cR you get.-rocy775
Yes
rank up to brigadier and buy it for 300,000 credits.
300,000 credits
you get banned by modding credits instead of earning them yourself
you CANNOT get 3 billion credits on Halo Reach. People who you see on youtube getting 3 billion credits in Reach are modders because there is a "credit cap" so that you cant go over a certain amount of credits.
As much as we all would like one, there is no cheat to give you "tons of credits" in Halo: Reach. You'll just have to play the game as usual.
