It needs to be in your team to receive Exp but it doesn't need to battle. It also needs to be alive.
give it to a Pokemon and put put a Pokemon that isn't holding it in thr team front and the Pokemon that is holding even if it don't battle it will receive some of the exp points from the battle
You either put a exp share on it or you put it in the front of your team and when you battle switch it (it will do better on the exp share though).
no you can not get exp in the battle frontier in Pokemon plat
To get a Pokemon level up quickly is to have a Pokemon hold exp. Share and then just battle a bunch of trainers or wild Pokemon.
the Experience share( or Exp. share), gives half the exp. points won in a battle to a pokemon. Example: Torterra and Nidoking are in a team. The battle is torterra vs blastoise, and nidoking is holding Exp. share. torterra beats blastoise, and instead of getting all the points(say 200), torterra splits with nidoking, so they both get half(100).
you could switch Pokemon in battle then all Pokemon that battled get exp or you could get the exp share and give it to one of your Pokemon
give the Pokemon you want to train an exp share then put your strong Pokemon first on your team and train on high leveled Pokemon the Pokemon with the exp share should level up by itself!
You cant!
Unfortunatley it is like emerald no you will not gain exp by battling in the battle frontier however you can get rare items and berries
Battle. It's the only possible way. Getting exp without battle is like living without breathing oxygen.
Half of the exp is given to the Pokemon who has the exp share normally If it is a double battle and the exp share holder is battling he gets 3/4 of the exp If he is not he gets a half and the other 2 battling get 1/4 From: experience
