Where do you get power crystals in kingdom hearts1?

Oh, I had trouble getting these too! Ok first off, you might want to equip Lucky Strike on all of your characters. As to where to get them, the following is what worked best for me:

* Atlantica (Undersea Gorge/Valley) > from Search Ghosts

* White Mushrooms (especially in Halloween Town, in the graveyard) > hit them with Cure 3 times

I also noticed that if you follow a certain route -you'll find millions of different strategies out there but then again, this is what worked for me- in Traverse Town you can get pretty much all of the hard-to-get synthesis items such as Bright Gems, Bright Crystals and Power Crystals. My route of choice is First District-Third District-Second District. I've farmed lots of these items in the Hotel, particularly cycling through the Hallway-Red Room-Green Room-Hallway again and so on...

Go to Hollow Bastion or Traverse town and attack the Defenders

P.S. Have Lucky Strike equipped in the abilities.

P.P.S. You need to have unlocked Defenders in Traverse Town

You can get it from the green nocturne... u can find them in Tarzan's, Alice in Wonderland , and traverstown:) (when you beat lock the keyhole in travertown and come back later)

As far as I'm aware, there are no power crystals in Kingdom Hearts 1, only Kingdom Hearts 2. There are Power Shards, Power Gems, and in the Final Mix version there are Power Stones.
