nothing. the information and progress is saved on the wii, not the game, so it does no harm and none of your progress is deleted or anything

No, they will not still be in that house, or community. However, if you deleted them on "accident", then you can look in the tool bar at the bottom when you first enter the map and there will be the Sims you deleted, just not your saved progress.

The game autosaves, as in, all progress on your account is automatically saved when you close the game. When you come back, your account's progress will still be there. If you are on a guest account, progress will not be saved, and all the progress you make on a guest account will reset when you close the game.
