Nearly every Sunday an animal will visit your town with a bag full of turnips. ask her about them and she will tell you everything you need to know about them. WHen she's finished talking, she will ask you if you would like to buy them. Red turnips cost 1,000 for a bag of seeds but you can only plant 1. If you need to know whether she is in your town or not, go talk ot the guys in town hall and say "whats new?"

On a Sunday morning on Animal Crossing, before 12 o'clock midday, look around for the wild pig called Joan. Talk to her, and ask for either white turnips, or red turnips. If you buy red turnips, you buy them in sets of ten, then sell them. If you buy red turnips, you have to buy a pack of red turnip seeds and plant them, then dig them up no more than a week later than you planted them. But you must water them every day, or they will die.
