In order to get a good gamerscore you have to get achievements.When you get achievements your gamerscore gets higher.If you have a good and high gamerscore it makes you look like a good gamer.

there's always dash of destruction which offers you a puny 200 G from XBLA but if you dont have XBL there's no way too apart from lending games of a friend
