the problem is it keeps freezing or the game shuts down to the desktop isn't it? "yes" well you are probablyusing a nVida graphics card and for some unknown reason the card conflicts with the sky files for normandie to fix this go into my computer double click on "local dick (C)" (if C is not your default hard drive then you will have to substitute C for your drives letter) then go to "program files" , Need for Speed, Porsche unleashed, game data, sky. you will see 2 files called "Farmland" and 1 called "Farmland.fsh" these are the problem now first lets copy the "canyon" files and then paste them down the bottom of the folder then rename the "farmland" to "farmland.old" now get the copied files of "canyon" and rename them to "farmland" now exit the window and open Porsche and race on normandie note: this does work i did it and it works brilliantly
RMS, the rear main engine seal is know to fail, and its a 5~6 thousand dollar repair. Porsche has an update, and once the fix is complete, the cars are great.
dude this man will teach you how to fix that thing and will make it work 100% i did what he said and it works :D https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=742LwhO-ojY
My OS is Win 7 64bit and when I play NFS Underground 2, SPEED.EXE sometimes stops work, how can I fix it?
Replace the Airbag/horn bracket in the steering wheel, rubber bushings are worn out,
Porsches are some of the most reliable and well made cars made for the general public. They'll last longer than just about any other car brand. IF YOU TREAT IT WELL; a Porsche engine can last upwards of 300,000 miles. But if you are unlucky and something does go bad, it will cost a fortune to fix.
you see that radiator hose that has a larger end ? that larger end is the pump.not a easy fix and the timing belt and balence shaft belt are attached. special tools required. good luck.
Go to p-car.com/996/diy it is actually instructions on and alternator replacement but this is a super easy fix you will need a 27mm socket and about 20 min avoid dealership that dealership cost!!!!
I owned a Porsche 944 Turbo, had a large hole in the top of the radiator. Look into a product called Waterweld, sold at local hardware stores, automotive, etc. I drove the car on 500 mile trips, no problems
The throwout bearing in your clutch is the likely culprit here. Your clutch may be shot in addition, but you are probably looking at a costly fix here.
If you have the real sims 2 disk you don't need anything else, just install sims 2 (making sure your PC has the right requirements/specs and there is no conflicting antivirus) and then play it. If you installed a storage package (like nfs) which im sure you have to have had installed anyway, there shouldn't be another problem. If you have a pirate, it won't work no matter what you do. EA have stopped all copying of sims games whatsoever (trust me, I've tried) If it's real, contact EA! (type into Google- sims 2.com)
If you are running the beta version, then you can no longer access tthe game, because the servers are closed from the EA ends and no more online play can happen with the beta version of the game. Otherwise try running it in Administrator mode, if the problem still remains, contact the NFS World Forums for Support. http://forum.ea.com/eaforum/categories/show/187.page
Three possible problems, either the motor is bad, the switch is bad or something in the CANBUS is interfering with the command to turn on. Unlike old school cars the porsche, vw and audi uses CAN communication to the wiper motor which is also a module to turn on as commanded via switch to steering column module to instrument cluster to wiper motor. To eliminate CAN, you need to remove the radio and check voltage to the orange/brown or orange/lilac. both need to be approximate 2.5volts with key just turned on. If either are excess of 5 volts or 0 volts you might as well take it to a porsche genius like me or a dealer and expect to pay around 10hrs of labor and whatever the part is to fix it.
