Maplestory can be considered addictive, because it is a game full of adventure and quests. Some of the many Maplestory players play for hours, destroying monsters, fulfilling quests and chatting with other people. But one very important reason why Maplestory is so addictive is because players want to level up their character. Because level upping is very hard to accomplish in Maplestory, players try their best on leveling up. I don't know why players want to level up so badly, but my guess is because they want to be very powerful in the game and gain a lot of fame.
You can get all of the types of throwing-stars by hunting the monsters which drop them or buying them from other players. You can usually find most or all of the different throwing-stars in the Free Market.
You can't.
