Fengjing is where Ping begins her adventure and forms a special bond with the dragon, overcoming challenges and obstacles along the way.
"My father's dragon" is a childrens book written by Ruth Gannett. It's about a boy, Elmer, who runs away to rescue a dragon, a baby dragon on Wild Island. It is a very good book and has earned the titles of "Newberry honor book" and "ALA notable book". It is the first book in a series of 3 (so it's a trilogy). The second and third book are named "Elmer & the dragon" and "The dragons of Blueland". They were all published in a 50-year anniversary edition as "Three tales of my father's dragon". After a while it was made into a cartoon-film or Anime which name/title was "Elmer's Adventures: My father's dragon" It was originally published by Random house in 1948. It was the same year nominated for "The Ambassador Book Award" and as previously mentioned it was both a "Newberry honor book" and "ALA Notable Book".
