Send all of your Oranges, apples etc. to the residents in your town in a letter. the letter has to have the word "Fruit" in it. then eventually you will get a letter back with different fruit attached (eg pear, coconuts etc.) or some furniture.
im pretty sure you either have to BUY pear tree seedlings from tom nook, or go to a friends town and take one of theirss :) it just like getting coconut tree, they wash up on shore and you can plant them! only Pears dont wash up on shore... :/
