There are no "mystery moshling codes" on Moshi Monsters.
There are the Monday Mystery Codes that appear in the Daily Growl on Mondays. Solve a puzzle and get a code you can redeem for a free item. The code is only valid for four days!
There is a link at the bottom of the Moshi Monsters game pages that says "ENTER SECRET CODE!" Click on that link and it takes you to a page where you can enter codes. Click on 'Enter Code Here' and enter your code. Then click 'Eat It!' and IGGY will eat your code. If the code is good, IGGY will show you your prize. IGGY will also tell you if the code has already been used. If a code is expired, IGGY will say "Sorry, you can not use that code." Click on 'Eat Another Code' if you have more codes to enter. Click on 'Go To My Room' to return to your room and check your Inventory (treasure chest).

Limited Edition Codes: can be found with many Moshi Monsters related items available for purchase. You can get codes in every issue of the Moshi Monsters Magazine, one on the back of every Moshi Monsters Mash Up Trading Card game map card and just general things to do with Moshi Monsters, such as Moshi Monsters books, trading cards, gift packs and toys. Limited Edition codes are unique, meaning they can only be used once. You can also get Limited Edition Codes by attending a Moshi Monsters event.
Exclusive or Virtual Item Codes: can only be used once by each member. Moshi Monsters gives Virtual Item Codes out in various ways, usually as prizes. Some Virtual Item Codes are available to all members, but some are unique and can only be used by one member.
