you go to the third floor of the jubilife tv station and there is a couple there. talk to the guy and he will interview you. for the first question say "everyone" and "happy" for the second question say "WIFI" and "connection". He will say something about a mystery gift. Voila! you now have the mystery gift option in your menu.
To get mystery gift for diamond and pearl go to jubilife tv station third floor. there is a guy with a girl. talk to the guy and he will ask what you think about tv. Answer EVERYONE for first space and HAPPY for second space. Then he'll ask for some feedback about TV and you should say WI-FI for first space and CONNECTION for second space. Go to Jublife TV in Jublife city go to the 3rd floor talk to a man downwards standing with a woman. He will ask you 2 questions about TV the first 2 answers are 'EVERYONE' and 'HAPPY' the next 2 answers are 'WI-FI' and 'CONNECTION' Then save your game and turn your DS off then turn it on again go onto Pokemon Platinum, press start then look under where it says continue and you will see mystery gifts if you don't have wi- fi on your DS (don't worry cause' I didn't have it either) Select Via wireless then click receive, I would suggest waiting for your gift overnight because it would usually take 3-4 hours for you to receive your present wake up in the morning and your gift will be there!!! Then try and find a use for your gift!!!!

You turn on your gameboy and select Mystery gift. However you will need a wireless adapter. You can get it at game stop but i don't think they sell them anymore. I asked for one and they said something but i wasn't paying alot of attention.

First you need to have a wireless adapter, second of all go inside a pokemart and check the little paper near the cashier, put in the lines "link together with all" the cashier says he will let you access mystery gift once you save your game. Save your game then turn it off and now you can access mystery gift.

Go to the Pokecenter in Petalburg City. From there, you will see a man standing at the P.C. Go to him and let him interveiw you. When he asks for your phrase, put in this order: MYSTERY EVENT IS EXCITING. Then you will have the mystery gift option. I really do not know why the actual mystery event at the start of resuming the game does not work for me, but if you come up with the answer, then could you send it to me? I hope I helped you out.
