I'd say get world tour, looking at the features. IF UR LOOKING FOR OLDER MUSIC, GET GUITAR HERO III...BUT IF YOU WANT MORE MODERN SONGS, GET WORLD TOUR.

Guitar Hero World Tour. Unless you count Guitar Hero Aerosmith- which isn't considered guitar hero 4. For some reason they didn't include the number 4 in world tour anywhere.

Yes, the original guitar works for all of the new releases (so far) including rock band. But, the world tour edition is much sleeker, with the joystick closer to where your hand should be, and a star power button.
