actually, after riku left the door to darkness, he found out in kingdom hearts 358/2 days, that he actually had the power to change to xehanort's heartless. (ansem, the heartless, actually stole ansem the wise's name). some of this is from 358/2 days by the way, but it holds the answer to why riku looks like ansem. later when riku trys to fight roxas to stop him from fighting xemnas, (xehanort's nobody) riku is forced to keep the true form of xehanort's heartless because he knows that the only way to beat roxas is to turn to the darkness. that is why for kingdom hearts 2, he looks like ansem during the whole game until he is allowed to change back. i know that this is really confusing but its all true. ansem the wise is the whole reason of kingdom hearts. he was a scientist who wanted to find out more about the human heart. but then his apprentices Even, Ienzo, Bleig, Dilin, Eleus, and Xehanort betrayed him, and then lost their hearts to heartless. however since their hearts were strong, they took form of a nobody. and that was how organization 13 was made. they just changed their names. if any of you know axel, you should know that his real name is lea.
also just in case, the is the order of kingdom hearts,
1. Birth by sleep
2. kingdom hearts 1 (ten years later)
3. kingdom hearts 358/2 days and chain of memories. (games are based at the same time)
4. kingdom hearts 2 or kingdom hearts remix
5. (might be a new kingdom hearts game but nobody knows yet)
spoiler alert!
kingdom hearts 358/2 days is all about the time where roxas spent his time in the organization while sora was put to sleep in chain of memories. riku, is in this game alot because he knows that the only way that sora can wake up is if roxas disapears. theres also a new character that affects sora's memories called ''xion.'' she resembles kairi because she is sora's strongest memory. unfortunately, saix, a member of the organization says to roxas that xion is merely a puppet and also asks him since when has their ever been a 14th chair in the organization. so obviously she dies because sora comes back...roxas actually is sora's nobody because for a few moments sora got turned into a heartless, which means his heart was gone for awhile, creating an empty shell. as you know kairi also lost her heart creating namine. namine is shown in several kingdom heart games. she is the whole cause of sora's awakening because of her abilities to form and take memories away from people. and lastly, the sad thing is that after roxas's friend dies, (xion) he tries to go after xemnas, who was the cause of her death. but luckily riku stops him because he knows that he isn't strong yet because he isn't with sora. and then riku finally defeats him by using ansems form permantely.
(until the end of kingdom hearts 2 XD)
AND YES! I KNOW MOST OF THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH RIKU'S FORM! BUT I HOPEFULLY SAVED YU FROM TYPING IN NEW QUESTIONS! XD
There was no Ansem in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. However, there was Riku-Ansem (Riku's dark side) but Riku was still a good guy. In the other games, Ansem the Wise is a bad guy.
You only get to fight Ansem and his Guardian in Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories, while playing as Riku. However, you see the Guardian again when Riku unleashes his darkness to beat Roxas in Memory's Skyscraper.
Riku didn't pretend to be Ansem. Riku's heart was engulfed by darkness and Ansem lays dormant inside of him. When Riku 'submits' to the darkness, he takes Ansem's appearance and must wear a blindfold to cover it up. (hence the blindfold we see throughout Kingdom Hearts II and Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days)
Xmnas is Xehanort's nobody and Ansem is Xehanort's heartless. So, basically they are all the same guy. Ansem already tried to take over Riku's hearts so they already have a score to settle with him.
Riku uses various weapons throughout the Kingdom Hearts storyline. He is seen with the Soul Eater and the Keyblade of People's Hearts in the first Kingdom Hearts. In Kingdom Hearts II, he uses the Oblivion Keyblade and a Keyblade known as The Way to Dawn.If you're asking what element Riku fights with, then the answer is darkness. Riku naturally had a hint of darkness in his heart, but it was further awakened due to the influence of Maleficent and Ansem's Heartless during the events of the first Kingdom Hearts. In the video game, Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, Riku's main attacks consist of dominantly dark-based moves, such as Dark Aura and Dark Firaga.
No Riku is blind but not really. The only reason Riku has the blindfold on is because since he was consumed by the darkness in Kingdom Hearts 1 he has to keep himself in the dark or his true form will come out which is the body and voice of Ansem who is actually Xemnas' somebody who is actually Xehanort and NOT Ansem the Wise.
6: Sora, Kaira, Saix, Luxor, Xemmas, and Ansem.
No he did not. Riku gave into the darkness and defeated Roxas so that he could give him to DiZ (Ansem) and have his memories of the organization erased.
Unlike Riku, Sora and Kairi didn't have darkness laid dormant in their hearts. Riku needed the blindfold to retain the darkness in his heart that Ansem had created from Kingdom Hearts 1.
No. Instead, Riku becomes Riku-Ansem. In a cutscene in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, after you beat Riku, he quotes, "I have to release the power in my heart, the dark power that I've been holding back, even, even if it changes me forever," and knocks Roxas out.
You can't fight Riku in Kingdom Hearts II.
No. Riku never dies in Kingdom Hearts II.
