Unfortunately, not very much. There is an occasional sound effect, such as a bell (24 Carrot Island, Super Power Island, and Steamworks) and the reed Flute on Mythology island. Musical challenges appear in some ad games, as shown in the piano game on Great Pumpkin Island. There is a short voice recording on Ghost Story Island.
This is likely the result of a deliberate restriction of the size of the files that have to be transferred during play. However, the recent inclusion of superfluous graphics (snow in Wimpy Wonderland) seem contrary to that ideal.
Poptropica has no sound, as of 2009.
No, Poptropica does not need nor use sound, at least to the best of my knowledge it does not.
So far, bandwidth use and the many languages of Poptropica have prevented this.
with the wrench
In order to minimize the download times from the servers, there is little sound on Poptropica. The exceptions include the reed pipe (flute) on Mythology Island, the phonograph recording on Time Tangled Island, and some limited sound effects.
put on the wimpiest music at low sound
i have been on poptropica for so long there is no sound on the game, but sometimes when you go to the stores like for example:carrot island got the lady missing the cat that owns the store and click on the gold bell.It has sound it's just like that.~hoped that helped~
Early poptropica is on the Poptropica map. You fly there in the Poptropica blimp.
Yes it is! Fantage is better than Poptropica, obviously!Poptropica is worser than Fantage because you can't say whatever you want, they have lesser games, they don't have sound, and they have horrible events.I'm not saying that you shouldn't play Poptropica anymore,I'm just saying that Fantage is better. But problems can happen in Fantage.
to get an access card on poptropica you must buy it with poptropica credits in the poptropica store
There is no Sing It Island, nor any apparent plans to add sound to the website (other than the minimal amount in use).
