Musical challenges appear in some ad games, as shown in the piano game on Great Pumpkin Island. There is a short voice recording on Ghost Story Island.
This is likely the result of a deliberate restriction of the size of the files that have to be transferred during play. However, the recent inclusion of superfluous graphics (snow in Wimpy Wonderland) seem contrary to that ideal.
