The first time ps3 came out yes the ps2 games kinda worked but I little later on people started complaining about the laser inside the ps3 to read the disc was so power full ( which it needed to be to have ps2 and ps3 games working on it ) it was burning holes in the discs so now it will not work
is simple..........you can't.the old snake ps2 it have no even near the same CPU and the grafiks of solid ps3.maybe low grafik game can work but the new things no way.(sorry for the bad english)
