Check the manual that comes with it, a the very bottom, there will be a code, when you install the sims 2, it will ask for this code, so enter the code at the bottom of the manual.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean, but if you mean cheat code, here it is: you type in CTRL SHIFT and C all at the same time A little box at the top of your screen should appear. type in boolProp testingCheatsEnabled true then you can raise and lower your sims' hunger, energy etc. If you want this to work though, make sure you type in the cheat code in the neighborhood screen, not when you are at your sims' house.
Each activation code is different. Yours will be inside the manual.
