In a previous title update, Combat Training was added to local split screen multiplayer. You do not need an Xbox LIVE gold membership to play it but you do need an internet connection to get the update. Simply go to local multiplayer and under "Edit Game Settings" you can add bots and their difficulty. One major difference though is there is no leveling up and all items are unlocked.
