No easy answer. It depends on the outputs of the laptop and the inputs on your TV.
If you have a modern laptop with a HDMI output and a TV with an HDMI input, then you are all set. Converters can be bought fairly cheaply if one or the other has the older DVI output. Many TV's also have a "D-sub" or SVGA connector input. This is the older standard of computer monitor connection. It looks vaguely like a "D" (trapezoid) and has three rows of pins - up to 5 pins in each row.
If you have an old-as-hell TV with just the composite (yellow) jack or an S-video jack, it can still be done but you will need kind of a pricey converter - and it really won't look that good because the resolution of the TV is WAY less than a monitor would be. You'd have to downsize your screen resolution until it kind of looks like Windows 3.1 for it to be clear.
if your TV is pre-1990 and has only an RF input, you would need an antenna switch, a RF modulator, AND the unit in the paragraph above.
In order to make this connection, you must first start by knowing what connection ports are available on both your PC/laptop (VGA, S-video, HDMI, and/or DVI) and your TV (VGA, S-video, HDMI, and/or DVI). If both have the same type of connection port than all you need is a cable to make that connection. Let's just focus on an laptop that has a VGA and a TV that has an S-video. To connect these you will need a VGA-S-video adapter. These can be found on-line and it most electronic retail stores. I found them priced at around $20..00. Second you will need an S-video cable, an audio cable and a VGA cable. The adapter should come with instructions on how to make these connections. Enjoy.
To convert your TV into a computer monitor you will need a video card and an extra VGA cable. TV to Computer Monitors are great for better viewing of your games, TV shows or movies.
If you laptop has an HDMI output then you can hook it up directly to a HDTV with an HDMI input without the PS3.
you need a wireless VGA cable
All you need is an S-Video adapter.
You will need an HDMI cable to connect your flatscreen tv to your HP Laptop. Make sure your HP Laptop has an HDMI input as well.
No, the HDMI jack on the laptop is output only. You may use it to project your laptop screen on other devices such as monitors and TVs. In order to get other devices to be projected on your laptop screen you need a video card with video IN capabilities. I guess you can buy a cheep monitor an then use the HDMI port to hook up the xbox... or buy a TV. No. Laptops cannot be linked to.
You can hook up an xbox 360 to an eyeclops mini projecter. I should know, I HAVE THEM BOTH!!! Take the cord that plugs into the TV and plug it into the right side of the mini projector. Then plug in the other cords into their usual spot, put in a DVD, CD, any thing that's a disk or has a usb port, turn up the volume, and watch.
Hook what up? If you want a laptop, go and buy one.
ya you can hook it up to any PC or laptop if they are usb enabled. most are.
i have an metro pcs cell phone how do i hook it up to my laptop
Yes. As long as there is an output for on than it is possible. What you need to do is have the wires that are blue. Then you hook it up to a laptop or to another electronic and it will then bring up an image on your tv.
get a VCR player and hook up it by the back inputs
No, you can not hook a Nintendo dsi up to a tv.
