Turbine Hall is part of the old Bankside Power Station in London. The building is now occupied by the Tate Modern Art Gallery.
The Turbine Hall is a gallery within the Tate Modern Art Gallery on the South Bank of the river Thames in London. The gallery is housed in the old Bankside power station and as the name suggests, the Turbine Hall is where the main turbines of the power station were situated.
In antiquity there were many scultures made of Marsyas. Recently, Anish Kapoor's sculpture for the Turbine Hall, Tate Modern, London, is called Marsyas.
