Sadly no, the creators of Halo 3 felt that if you had hunters and grunts as allies(the ones that sided with the Elites) and enemies(the ones that sided with the Prophets and Brutes) it would confuse the player.
But some still stayed sided with the Elites, but you just don't see them in Halo 3, you see them in Halo 2 during the Covenant Civil War.
In halo 2 the hunters, grunts, and elites are technically sided with the arbiter. The arbiter later sides with master chief and around that time the elites decide to not follow the other alien brethren so the hunters and grunts no longer side with you. In the end once all the prophets are dead, the elites return to their home-world so they may once again be a part of their brethren.
Grunts, Jackals, Brutes, hunters, engineers (infantry). Wraiths, banshees, phantoms, choppers, shade turrets.
yes they do
they live
grab a plasma pistol then punch it in the back.
it depends on what your doing if you have marines with you and are attacking grunts and brutes i would recommend warthogs and the prowler if you are by your self i recommend the ghost, banshee or chopper if you are arracking hunters and wraiths i recommend the scorpion but my favourite i the hornet
You can't
there are none, but there is hard enemys like brute chieftans and hunters.
The Covenant's, which include Grunts, Brutes, Hunters, Elites(until the bloodbath with brutes prior to the ending of halo 2) The species in which the Prophet is. The Flood is not a Covenant as it kills all that is living, and reanimates them as one of them.
Halo Wars is about 20 Years before Halo Combat Evolved. So the Elites are part of the Covenant.
Halo reach: +Bigger campaign + More vehicles + Cooler story + Multiplayer + You have more variety +Assassinations - You die at the end. - Boring reused maps - It's not earth. - Terrible stealth. Halo 3 ODST +You are one of the grunts. + Silenced weapons +Original and still fun firefight. +Campaign well designed. +Free roam. -Campaign is tiny -less "personal" - tedious allies. - overpriced [it was originally dlc] Overall: Halo 3 odst 8.5 Halo reach 9.1 My personal opinion:choose reach.
You know this REALLY bothered me in Halo 3. Because I mean, come on! They were all great and wonderful to the elites in Halo 2 ,and then all of asudden they have a huge change of heart? That just doesn't make any sense. The grunts are still enemies because they never rebelled against the prophets. It was the Sangheili (that is the actual "race" name for the Elites) that rebelled against the teachings of the prophets.
