A good major would be pre law. A long with your pre law major, a minor in journalism or political science would be helpful.
This is entirely up to you. It depends on your personal overall career goals and objectives. What may be a good choice for some may not be for others. The minor you choose should enhance your major program of study. For example. If one is seeking to become a corporate lawyer, a good choice might be a bachelor's degree in business. A good choice for a minor might be philosophy. This, because it can develop new ways of thinking in terms of logic, and persuasive argument which in turn may help when presenting a case. The same thing would apply to someone pursuing a degree in biology. First, what is your specific reason for taking this degree. Let's say you want to become a veterinarian. Thus your major is biology. The minor you choose might be zoology, or maybe animal behavior (if the school offers it). In any event, the minor you choose should enhance or compliment your major. Still, you cannot do this if you do not have a specific career goal in mind.

You would want to be a Veterinarian to help animals. It pays good as well..
If you're going to focus more on the science aspect of the major, planning on perhaps going into the research front of psychology, then Biology or Chemistry would be a good choice. If planning on taking your degree into the business setting, Business would be a good major; pursuing an M.B.A. after you graduate with a Business minor wouldn't be a bad idea either. If you live in the south or west, Spanish might be a better minor for you if you plan on practicing applied psychology.
A veterinarian.
Philosophy would be a fantastic major, as well as linguistics. If you could do both of these as minors, you would be able to understand language at the microscopic level and understand literature even more deeply. It's what I'm doing.
