Well, certain high schools have an animal science elective you can take if you want to be a vet. Also, volunteering at animal shelters gives you that confidence to be around animals. A great veterinary college is highly recommended.

The exact courses you will have to study vary depending on what school you go to and where you are located. In general, however, you will be required to take many different Biology and pharmacy classes, Basic science and math are also a must. If you goog the pre-vet tests, it will give you a good idea of what you will need to know to at least get in to a good school.
