How can you help your hamster to lose weight?

They have dog food that's for over weight dogs at your local grocery store at the price of regular dog food also cut down or cut out treats and no human food

Carrots make good treats! Healthy and almost everybody has 'em in their fridge. Some dogs have stomach problems though. A little at first, and if they don't seem fishy then make them your regular treat. If you have a dog that likes toys, then use toys, not a treat.

If a hamster is getting fat it may either be because that its not getting enough exersize, if this is the cause think about getting a moble hamster ball and playing with it more. Or it may be because of its food. Corn and seeds are fine to give to your hamster for a treat once in a while but it shouldn't be in its daily food. Put it on a pellet diet, go to the nearest petstore like Petco or Petsmart and buy some pellet food for you hamster or buy a hamster ball. Give it a wheel for exercise and maybe one of those plastic hamster balls for it to run around. Feed it hamster food from a pet store and also give it things like; Grapes, lettuce, cucumber, carrots, etc.

feed your hamster human food. like scraps from the table or just stuff from your pantry. i once saw this dog in the park and the owners fed the dog human food like all the time and he was HUGE!!

If you truly have an obese rabbit then there are a couple tricks to help him or her lose some weight. First, put it on a diet, but not too severe. Acquire a larger cage or more time to run around in your house. Find a less fattening feed and use oats or hay with it. Be sure to not let it get thin from this diet plan. It is much easier to fatten a rabbit, then to thin one, but have patience and it will work.
