Why the Bill of Rights were added to the constitution.

the bill of rights was added because the rest of the ones was not strong enough to handle all the citizens so they created the bill of rights and the bill of rights protect us from our government so if the government got to powerful we can decide weather we need the law or not and if they disagree we will be protected and still have our freedom without the government bossing us around like we don't have freedom.

To place limitations on what the central Federal government could and could not do. The Bill of Rights specifically states things that the government CANNOT do. At the time the Constitution was created, people were afraid that the central government would be too powerful. P.S.- they were correct!
