well......Missouri Kentucky west Virginia Maryland Delaware......Tennessee was until it joined the confederacy if you count territories you had the Indian territory(modern day Oklahoma) and the New Mexico territory(now New Mexico and Arizona) that's nine but most just consider the first four as actual boarder states because obviously Tennessee joined and the other three were only territories at the time so yea there are the nine if someone wants to know that much but just for general reference ill say just the first 4
