Circulation issue Washington quarters dated 1964 and before are worth at least about $6 for the silver content because they are 90% silver. Some dates/mintmarks are worth more and the better the condition (especially on the earlier issues) the more money they are worth. All circulation issue quarters dated 1965 and after are only worth 25 cents. Coins in mint/proof sets are worth more than face though the value depends on the year and what type of set was it in (mint set, special mint set, proof set, silver proof set, etc.)
$10.00 if they are not silver, about $100.00 of they are silver.
Washington is only on Quarters. A 1950 US half dollar has Ben Franklin on it.
About $8.50 at the time of writing just for the silver content.

25 cents. The reason they're called Washington quarters and not Franklin quarters is that they have a picture of George Washington.

U.S. quarters, starting from 1932, are called "Washington quarters." Washington quarters dated from 1932 to 1964 are made with 90% silver and 10% copper, and weigh 6.25 grams. The value of the metals depends on the market price of silver and copper. As of October 5, 2007, the value of the silver in a pre-1964 Washington quarter is $2.41 (market price of silver $13.39 per ounce) and the value of the copper in a pre-1964 Washington quarter is about a half of a cent, giving the total value of a pre-1964 Washington quarter about $2.42. If the coin is rare, and/or is in mint like condition, it could be worth significantly more. None of the 1944 Washington quarters (Philadelphia, San Francisco, and Denver mints) are rare, but if the coin is in mint state, it would be worth about $35.
25 cents. Some types of Washington quarters (proofs) and some rare dates can have widely varying values, greater than their currency value.
As of February 2016, they're worth about $2.75 each.
Liberty quarters were made from 1796 to 1930. While all modern quarters have the word LIBERTY on them, they're standardly called Washington quarters because they have a picture of President Washington on them. Second, all circulation quarters minted since 1965 have been made of copper-nickel, NOT silver, so your coin is an ordinary quarter with no added value.
We spend Washington Quarters every day. The ones 1964 and earlier contain silver. About $3.25 worth (summer 2010)
