"DO" isn't a mint mark. The mint mark on a silver dollar for that year is on the reverse (tails) side, just above the letters "do" in the word "dollar."
$14 to $20 depending on condition.
If their is one it's on the back above the letters DO in the word dollar
See the related link below for a picture of the 1880 silver dollar.
$27 to $1300 depending upon the condition of the coin.

1880 would probably make it a Morgan dollar, so the mint mark (assuming that's the marking you meant) is located on the reverse (tails) side, near the bottom, just above the letters "do" in the word "dollar."
Currently a 1880 S Morgan silver dollar in MS65 uncirculated condition is worth $156.
7-31-11>> Assuming the coin is circulated and has no mintmark, the 1880 Morgan dollar is very common. Values are $38.00 in the grade of VG-8
I would pay a dollar for a dollar, after all, it is only a dollar.
There are 3 possible mint marks - O, S, and CC. Please post a new question with the specific mark on your coin.
