Yes. It's worth about $5.00. Of course, if you can afford to hold onto it, it's worth saving just to have a specimen of what US currency used to look like before the redesign overhaul of the 1990s.
First of all...why do you want to know? Your can always look at a one dollar bill and count. I don't have a dollar bill in front of me at the moment but I'm guessing 8.
