The British defeated the French forces, and when they signed the Treaty of Paris (1763) - they ceded almost all of their territory in mainland North America. The British gained control of Florida diplomatically through the same treaty.
At first, the annexing of Texas had been refused by the United States. In 1844, Sam Houston (the Texan President) signed a treaty of annexation with the US. Although the Senate yet again refused to ratify the treaty, for fear the annexation of Texas would cause war with Mexico. Houston refused to give up, and pressured the US by pretending Texas was going to ally itself with Britain. This trick worked, and in 1845, Congress passed a joint resolution admitting Texas to the Union.
Florida became a territory of the United States in 1819.

Because they were broke and needed $20 million.
Florida Purchase Treaty of 1819.. I believe that when Spain gave up the claims to Florida it was called the Adams' Onis Treaty. I do not know about the Oregon territory. But It could have been the same thing.
In 1795, Pinckney's Treaty with Spain gave Americans the right to travel freely on the Mississippi river. It also gave them the right to store goods at the port of new Orleans without paying customs duties. nope its give the U.S. access to the Mississippi river
Britain- The "Treaty of Paris" in 1763 forced France to give its Canadian claim to the British. :)
False
In the Treaty of Paris in 1763, Britain demanded that Spain and Portugal give up great portions of their land claims in North America. France was to give up its claims to Canada and all territory east of the Mississippi River except New Orleans. Spain was to give up Florida. Britain also gave up all its claims west of the Mississippi River.
That depends on which Treaty of Paris. The 1763 Treaty of Paris ended the French and Indian War and did nothing of the still non-existent US. The 1783 treaty created the US and did not give it any power.
The terms of the peace treaty proved costly for Spain. The Spanish had to give up all claims to Cuba and cede Puerto Rico and the Pacific island of Guam to the U.S. Spain also turned control of the Philippines over to the U.S. in exchange for a $20 million payment.
