If the coin is in circulated condition (as in you found it in change) and the coin doesn't have an "S" mintmark, it is only worth 25 cents and unless the value of the US dollar drops dramatically, it will only be worth 25 cents. They aren't silver and there were about a billion of them minted. If you like the design and you find one in change, feel free to keep it, just realize that it won't be worth anything more in the future.
