August 5, 2009 The mint mark for this Barber dime is located on the reverse side of the coin. There is none on the obverse. If there is a "D" on the face it has been added after it left the mint. Marks such as this devalue a coin and in this case the dime would be worth bullion price which is $1.06 today.
