What is the impact of the Atlantic trade routes established in the mid 1600s on the economic development in the British North American Colonies?

Analyze the impact of the Atlantic trade routes established in the mid-1600's on economic development in the British North American Colonies. Consider the period 1650-1750. And more money as he went along. Triangular trade was a highly profitable system and helped develop the British colonies in North America. Many different types of goods were transferred through the system of triangular trade. New goods were introduced to the North American colonies from the West Indies, such as sugar, molasses, which was a major ingredient in rum, one of the colonies' major exports. From Africa, slaves were imported for labor. Many goods were also exported out of the colonies, helping strengthen their economies. Because of triangular trade, the new goods were introduced to many different parts of the world. To Europe, the main exports were tobacco, lumber, flour, and fish. The main goods transported to the West Indies were timber, and foodstuffs, giving the colonies the money they needed to buy goods from England. The imports and exports traded between the West Indies, Africa, and the North American colonies were a basis for the economy of the British North American Colonies. Triangular trade helped the new colonies flourish by creating many occupations in the New World. Many farmers were needed to grow the food that was shipped overseas, making farming the most popular occupation. Slaves and servants were imported as a good and helped increase the output production of the colonies for little or no cost. The hired hands were usually poorer people, hired to do skilled labor work for Professionals, a higher ranking class. The highest class consisted of many well-paying occupations. It included the merchants who sold the goods to other countries, lawyers, officials, and clergymen, who ran the churches. Triangular trade helped create many occupation opportunities, helping to shape the colonies of North America. Although triangular trade helped the British North American Colonies flourish, there were many obstacles and problems that came along with it. The climate of the New World was much colder than that of the Old World, especially in the winter. This made it more difficult for ships to travel to the new colony.
