What is the value of undated standing liberty quarters?

Early Standing Liberty quarters had a design defect that caused the date to wear off very quickly. Unfortunately coins with dates worn off are generally only worth their intrinsic metal value, about $3.00 for a quarter as of 05/2009.

What year has the most rare liberty quarters between 1935 and 1964?

There are no Liberty US quarters in the dates given. If you look at the coins you will see George Washington's portrait on the them. With that said, the year with the lowest mintage is the 1937-S only 1,652,000 were struck.

What is the value of a US Coins of the 20th Century coin set?

It will depend on exactly which coins it includes. If it includes all varieties (Types I and II of the buffalo nickels, standing liberty quarters, Anthony dollars, etc) it will be a LOT more than if it only includes the major designs. And of course the exact dates and mintmarks of the coins is important as well as their condition.

What is the value of a 1921 US quarter?

1921 Standing Liberty Quarter1921 is one of the scarcer dates for quarter. All 1921 quarters were struck at Philadelphia; the "M" on the front is the designer's initial and not a mint mark. Numismedia lists the following approximate retail values as of 04/2010:Very worn condition - $174Moderately worn - $450Slightly worn - $576Almost no wear - $1,058Uncirculated - $1,440 to $9,100 depending on quality

What is the value of a twenty five coin set every coin minted by the US from 1900 to 1971?

This is a really broad question. First off, by every coin minted by the US from 1900-1971 do you mean every coin as in every single coin with mintmarks? Or is this just one coin per year? All of the coins dated 1964 or earlier are at least worth $5.25 for the silver content. However, with such a large range of dates some of the older quarters might be worth more than the silver content. Also important is the condition, especially with the Barber coins (1900-1915 and possibly 1916 which also has a Standing Liberty Quarter issued that date) which, for most dates are only worth silver value if worn but worth quite a bit more in better condition. Also important are how worn the Standing Liberty Quarters are (1916 or 1917 depending on if the 1916 is a Barber Quarter or not - 1930), they are worth quite a bit more in very nice condition. All of your quarters dated 1965 or later are only worth face value. But really this is too broad of a question for me to answer with every possibility, I would look online and just look up the dates and mintmarks of the coins you have and see how much they are going for in the condition that your coin is. Alternatively bring them in to a reputable coin dealer and see what he has to say about them.

What is the value of a 1929 US quarter that has a m?

The "M" is actually the designer's initials, the mintmark (if any) is found on the other edge on the left. No 1929 Standing Liberty Quarters are key dates, but high grade standing liberty quarters are worth a premium regardless of date. However, if your coin is worn, it is really only worth about $6-7 in silver melt.

What are quarters?

Quarters dated 1964 and prior are 90% silver and worth about $5.50 at the time of writing just in pure silver content. 1916 Standing Liberty quarters are key dates and worth quite a bit. Coins in their original mint packaging are worth a premium, especially if they are proofs.

What year and mint mark of a silver quarter is most wanted?

There are a number of particularly rare and collectible U.S. quarters. Dates with fewer than one million include 1932 D and S, 1927 D and S, 1915 S, 1914 S, 1913 P, 1912 S, 1911 D and S, 1909 O, 1908 S, 1899 S, 1897 S, 1896 S, and 1892 S. Dates with fewer than 100,000 are the 1916 Standing Liberty, 1913 S, and 1901 S. Note that this only covers Washtington, Standing Liberty, and Barber quarters, not including proofs. Many dates of earlier quarters were minted in small numbers, some at under 10,000.

What are the values of liberty standing quarters?

You need to know the coins' dates and mint marks. For 1917 coins you also have to know whether there are stars below the eagle or not. The mint mark position is above and to the left of the date. It may be blank, or there may be a D or S. The M on the other side is not a mint mark, it's the designer's monogram. Note that this design is normally called a "standing Liberty" quarter rather than the other way round. See the links below for more information.

What year is a quarter with flying eagle on back and full person on front?

The "person" is Miss Liberty. You have what's called a Liberty Standing quarter. It's considered to be one of the most beautiful U.S. coins of the 20th century. The design was struck from 1916 to 1930. Unfortunately a defect in the original design caused the dates to wear off quickly, and the problem was not corrected until about 1925. As a result many SL quarters are dateless.

What are rare dates for silver US quarters?

There are no rare dates among quarters minted since the 1940s. You have to go much farther back to find anything that's truly valuable, although there are some pretty expensive quarters from the first third of the 20th century. Here's a few representative prices as of 11/2010:1932-D: $55 to $33,000 depending on condition1932-S: $90 to $20,0001916 Standing Liberty design: $2,500 to $44,0001913-S: $1,500 to $100,0001873-CC with arrows by the date: $3,100 to $156,0001838: $29 to $168,0001831: $63 to $34,0001796: $10,000 to $437,000

What is the value of an 1890 Michigan quarter?

Please post a new question. All quarters minted in 1890 were Seated Liberty quarters with a picture of Miss Liberty on the front and an eagle on the back. If your coin is one of the new State Quarters, it has TWO dates on it: the admission date for the state being honored is at the top of the coin's reverse, and the minting date is at the bottom. But Michigan was admitted to the Union in 1837 so if you have its State quarter it wouldn't have 1890 at the top.
