For the Peace dollar series 1935 is not a rare coin. The only rare Peace dollar is the 1922 high relief matte proof coins.
Only Proof 1922 Peace dollars were struck in matte & satin finish and are very rare. But if you think you have one, take it to a coin dealer.
A 1922 matte proof Peace Silver Dollar is very rare - if you are fortunate to possess one, its value is at least $60,000! The term "matte" refers to the coin's appearance. Instead of having a very shiny surface, matte proofs look as if they were very finely sandblasted.
