My grandfather Abe Tonkonogy was George Delacorte's brother. According to my 89 year old mother Irene Tonkonogy Adler, George had a falling out with his father as he wanted to marry an older women when he was 18. His father would not accept the relationship. Goerge married this women and changed his name to Delacorte which was his wife's name. He had very little to do with the Tonkonogy family after the marraige.
