A young Mexican girl who lives in a small villiage in the southwest of Mexico. She is impoverished and dying. The inspiration for her monkey companion came from a savage bonobo that lived close to her house and attacked many of her relatives, spreading a multitude of diseases through her family. The talking map and backpack were hallucinations caused by the severe brain diseases she has contracted. Rumour has it she sits alone in the corner of a small shack singing perched atop a pile of her own excrement.
