Some of the other countries around the world

The person above does not know much about international politics, I am guessing. I, Qwar, will explain the top 5 allies of each region of the world, Europe, the Americas, the Caribbean, Asia, Middle East, Africa, and the Pacific.

Top 5 Allies of Europe

1. The United Kingdom

The United Kingdom is the United States closest ally of all of Europe. Which is quite surprising since the United States fought the United Kingdom in 2 wars. The United States and the United Kingdom have been trading since the end of the War of 1812, but the United States and the United Kingdom did not fight together until World War 1. Ever since the United States and the United Kingdom have stood by each other in every conflict involving one of them. Today the United States and the United Kingdom have one of the closest relationships in the whole world. In my opinion the relationship between the United States and the United Kingdom will never falter.

Interesting Fact: From some sources in the United Kingdom, there is saying that Scotland will gain independence this year.

2. France

France and the United States has had a close relationship since the Revolutionary War when France sent troops to George Washington's Continental army and blocked British ships from getting to any of the 13 colonies. In my opinion France has a poorly trained military since Napoleon's defeat at the Battle of Waterloo on June 18th, 1815. Though in World War 1 France's troops were very tough and in World War 2 the French Resistance was revered by allied soldiers including United States troops. The trade between France and the United States has been going since the United States won the Revolutionary War and is very strong. France has been mean to the United States every once in a while, but that is allowed because the United States insult was not helping in France's revolution after the War of 1812. Sadly there is much anti-Americanism in France.

3. Netherlands

It is surprising to most people that the United States has such a close relationship. The British were the first ones to settle in North America, Netherlands was second. The Netherlands were the first ones to recognize the United States as its own country. In military ways the United States and Netherlands don't have much in common except NATO, but the trade between them is huge. Netherlands and the United States trading relationship might be the strongest trading relationship in the world.

4. Iceland

Iceland and the United States have a incredibly strong relationship. It started in World War 2 when allied, most United States, soldiers were stationed there to block the Nazis to getting to the West. The United States and Iceland relationships is mostly military. Iceland has no standing military so in 1951 the United States and Iceland signed a defense agreement that says the United States will set up defenses for Iceland as a NATO member. So the United States has ships guarding Iceland. There is trading between them of course. The United States and Iceland have common views about things that range from combating terrorism and putting an end to drug trafficking to finding cleaner and greener energy sources.

5. Greece

The United States and Greece has had a military relationship since the United States sent to Greece when Greece was fighting for freedom against the Ottoman Empire. Trade between the United States and Greece has been just a strong. When the Great Recession began Greece tried to help, but did not know how. When the Great Recession ended Greece was also in bad shape, so the United States has been helping them ever since. From some sources there is talk of Greece getting better because of United States help. So all and all Greece and the United States have been incredibly good friends.

Special Note about European Allies: Germany is sadly 6th because of a degrading relationship. It is still strong, but it is fading.

Top Allies in the Americas

1. Canada

The relationship between the United States and Canada is the strongest relationship between 2 countries ever. The friendship began after the War of 1812, after we tried to seize Canada but not permanently, it was at first trading supplies and what not. It was very good. The relationship bucked up when World War 2 began. The United States and Canada jumped in to help the allies, especially the United Kingdom. So together the United States and Canada fought side-by-side. Ever since Canada and The United States have been helping each other in every way possible, trading supplies, loaning money, and supporting each other in conflicts.

2. Colombia

It is surprising that Colombia is number 2 on the list, hell I was surprised when I started learning about this. The United States and Colombia's relationship started when they joined to fight communism, then it was based of fighting drug trafficking, then fighting terrorism. Colombia's relationship to the United States still runs strong to this day. Colombia is one of the most respected countries in the Americas by the United States.

3. Honduras

Honduras and the United States have a enormous and strong trading relationship which Honduras gains much from. Billions of dollars come and go between the United States and Honduras. In the Iraq conflict the United States worked with Honduras incredibly close. Honduras mostly did peacekeeping missions which the United States involved them selves in. The United States gave Honduras intel and used their soldiers as guards for the Honduran peacekeeping missions. The relationship between the United States and Honduras still runs strong.

4. Argentina

Argentina and the United States have always had a strong relationship. The United States calls Argentina one of its major non-NATO ally which is pretty much true. The trade is enormous going over 10 billion between countries. The international peacekeeping missions by Argentina helps the United States a lot. The United States helps by loaning soldiers as guards on the missions. The relationship between Argentina and the United States still runs strong.

5. Chile

Chile and the United States has a strong relationship in every way except in military operations. Both countries try to find ways of making greener energy and making better education systems. The United States and Chile have many talks about on issues including diplomacy, security, culture and science. Chile is a well respected country by the United States because it is seen as one of the least corrupt and most vibrant democracies in South America, with a healthy economy. The relationship between Chile and the United States still run strong.

Top 5 Allies in Caribbean

1. Jamaica

Jamaica and the United States have a very important relationship. Out of all the Caribbean countries Jamaica gets the most US tourists. The trade between countries goes to around 5 billion. The United States benefits from this relationship because Jamaica uses money to crack down on drug dealing. Less and less drugs come from Jamaica because of Jamaica and the United States helping each other. I think this relationship will go on for a while.

2. Trinidad and Tobago

The United States and Trinidad and Tobago have an important relationship. The United States helps Trinidad and Tobago by construction and enhancing its political and social stability. In return Trinidad and Tobago send oil, steel and petrochemical to the United States. Petrochemical is used to make propane and other helpful chemicals, though safety first with that stuff. The thing that both nations gain is the support from the United States for cracking down on drug trafficking. The relationship between these countries is strong.

3. Dominican Republic

The Dominican Republic and the United States have a strong and important relationship. Dominican Republic is often assisted by the United States in public education for youths-at-risk, quality healthcare and many other matters. The Dominican Republic helps the United States by cracking down on drug trafficking. I mean they did send let us take David Ortiz, who is now basically the best designated hitter in baseball for a long time. This is an important relationship that will last very long.

4. Suriname

Suriname and the United States don't have a very strong military relationship, like most Caribbean countries, but otherwise it is strong. Most people think the relations are there are a lot of tourists from the United States, but tourism is only a small part of Suriname's economy. The United States helps Suriname by making Suriname's military better trained, sending money to crack down on drugs, and strengthen civil society. Suriname in return sends us bauxite and stops drugs from going into our country. Bauxite is a rock type that is used to make aluminum. So Suriname is very helpful to us. It is a very strong relationship.

5. Guyana

Guyana was a good country, very fair country. The United States stepped up and started helping Guyana. The main thing the United States did was sent up a HIV/AIDS station to combat HIV/AIDS.United States engineers and medical personnel also conduct training exercises in Guyana such as digging wells, providing medical treatment, and building schools and clinics. It is a very strong relationship.

NATO which is Almost all of Europe, and Some other countries like Canada,Australia and New Zeland. But if your asking this question because of people talking about China invading the U.S then some of NATO countries won't help since their OK with China. Still people think this invasion is not truth because The U.S and China depend on each other because The U.S buys Chinas stuff and that's how China gets their economy but China is not really getting money from the U.S so to China is almost like if the U.S doesn't exist no more so why not take over the Country.

Chinas allies are Russia, most of Central Asia,North Korea,Vietnam,Pakistan and Guatemala plus they have a connection going with Mexico now so MEX could be Chinas Best Friend in the Future and U.S greatest enemy since The U.S and Mexico are next to each other but I don't think it's going to happen. I think it's just business.
