Depends on the role. The Dragunov SVD was developed for use as a support weapon, as not for use in a dedicated sniping role. The M21, on the other hand, was developed as an alternative to bolt action rifles for sniping in high intensity and urban environments (same reason the M110 SASS was adopted). The SVD is intended more for designated marksmen than dedicated snipers. But, to its advantage, it's a simpler design, less expensive to produce, and actually has a somewhat better operating system for the purpose (short stroke piston, as opposed to a long stroke piston).
The M21 and Enhanced Battle Rifle are two different variations of the M14 rifle, both of which are very much real.
M21 ebr
Yes, It is a more accurate version of the M14. Its range is about 1000 meters.
This particular gun is known as the M21 Ebr sniper rifle. It is also used in multiplayer.
Mainly Remington 700 and Winchester Model 70 or M21's.
Not really. Both weapons may be similar in animations, but they have lots of differences. - The M14 is an assault rifle, while the M21 is a sniper rifle. - The M14 has a 20 round magazine, while the M21 has a 10 round magazine. - The M14 deals 50-40 damage, whild the M21 deals 70 damage. - The empty reload time of the M14 at 3.06s is slightly faster than the M21's, at 3.1s. - The M21 has a lot less recoil than the M14.
The M21 is just an M14 but was the U.S. army's official Sniper Rifle from 1969-1988 (which was then replaced by the modern M24 SWS), and the M21 has a Leatherwood 3-9 Adjustable Ranging Telescope (ART) telescopic Sight, and furnished match grade ammunition to improve its accuracy over the M14.
There are 4 sniper rifles in MW2, the Intervention, the Barrett 50. Cal, the WA2000, and the M21 EBR.
i find the m21 ebr suits my style of play but it depends on how you like to play if skill then quickscoping with the intervention but if you like to cover fire the the m21 i find is best if you want random moments of glory then the 50 cal no-scoping will do you fine
It is actually the Mk 14 EBR (Enhanced Battle Rifle). It has a 'Mk' designation because it is in service with the United States Navy. The M21 is a sniper weapon system introduced during the Vietnam War based on the original M14 battle rifle.
WA2000, intervention, barett 50 cal, M21 EBR and Dragonuv* ( * = single player only)
Well if you are talking about SMG's and stuff like that; it's the P-90 I say for the snipers its the .50 caliber sniper rifle or the M21.
