Metternich's three goals for the Congress of Vienna were to 1) prevent futur French aggression, 2) restore the balance of power and 3) he wanted to restore Europe's royal family back to the thrones they held before Napoleon's conquest.
From September 18, 1814 to June 9, 1815 in Vienna, Austria the European powers participated in a diplomatic conference ,and the conference was organized by the Austrian statesman Klemens von Metternich and proposed Sven Wenzel and organizations. The aim is to redraw the European political map after defeat of Napoleon.
