The first hundred days of Franklin Roosevelt's presidency saw a record number of bills passed to relieve the economic depression which had been deepening since 1929. The package of bills was called the New Deal.

The Hundred Days is also the term given to the period when Napoleon returned from exile on Elba after nine months to try to regain his former power. It ended with the Battle of Waterloo.

The Hundred Day Congress refers to the time after Franklin D. Roosevelt's election in which the president and congress passed numerous new legislature in order to combat the Great Depression.

As far as the Napoleonic Wars are concerned the "Hundred Days" refers to the time when Napoleon escaped from Elba on 1 March to 18 June 1815 when he lost the Battle of Waterloo.
