As President, they were, in my opinion, the fight against nullification, the fight to end the Bank of the US, and retiring of the national debt, which was accomplished by careful fiscal management and elimination of much of the corruption that had become a routine part of previous administrations.

Andrew Jackson was known for three significant issues during his presidency: his opposition to the Second Bank of the United States, his Indian Removal policies, and his expansion of presidential power. He vetoed the rechartering of the Second Bank, which contributed to its eventual demise. Jackson's Indian Removal policies resulted in the forced relocation of Native American tribes, most famously known as the Trail of Tears. Lastly, Jackson significantly expanded the power and influence of the presidency, asserting executive authority and challenging the authority of the Supreme Court.
