John Couch Adams was a british scientist that co-discovered the planet Neptune. He predicted using mathematical equations that there was a planet beyond Uranus, and many people did not believe him, but he was proven correct. He was born in Cornwall, England in 1819, and died in Cambridge, England in 1892, age 73.
