umm i don't know for sure but i was told it wont heal rite and u could get tmj or later on have difficulties such as lockjaw! i had my wires on almost 5 weeks and trust me im ready for them to come off im starving plus it sucks they are coming off one day shy of 6 weeks and im alittle worried about that lol so yea probably not a good idea unless ur talkin about a day or two!!
