We buy and sell securities at a very fast pace. The longest I've held a position was probably about 15 minutes and that is considered a very long time for me because price moves fast during intra-day trading and scalping is a great way to trade high volatility stocks.

A day trader is someone who buys and sells financial instruments, such as stocks, commodities, or currencies, within a single trading day. They aim to take advantage of short-term price fluctuations and make profits based on these price movements. Day traders often use technical analysis, charts, and market data to make quick and frequent trades throughout the day.
