Talk to a Coast Guard recruiter and see what they look for and how they select their pilots. Any military pilot needs to be in good physical shape, smart and very focused on their job. Flying helicopters in general requires some special skills because of the controls and flying a Coast Guard helicopter has more special skills needed.
They make money, you know like the bling bling $$ big mola
If you were already a licensed certified helo pilot in the Coast Guard why would you go to college to pursue a career as a licensed certified pilot? With a lack of logic or critical thinking that this question displays, don't pursue any career where you're flying or driving ANYTHING with other human beings in it!
In order to become a helicopter pilot you must get a license. In order to get a license you must have a certain amount of hours of training in a helicopter.
Physics
Helicopter pilots must receive a special helicopter license. Obtaining this license requires at least 40 hours of practice flying as well as classes. Anyone wanting to become a helicopter pilot should expect to pay at least 15,000 dollars for training costs.

The operator of a helicopter is the "pilot", or if more specificity is required, "helicopter pilot".
Rapid response wiring involves direct electrical connections that enable quick and precise transmission of signals from the pilot's brain to the helicopter controls. This allows the pilot to make instantaneous adjustments in response to changing conditions, such as storm-strength winds, without any delay or lag in communication. This enhances the pilot's ability to maintain precise control over the helicopter, improving safety and maneuverability in challenging environments.

The rank of a Coast Guard Helicopter Pliot varies. Because the pilot will have to have completed flight training, the minimum rank is Lt(jg) (O-2), but more than likely all pilots will have made full Lt (O-3) by the time they pin on their wings. The highest rank for a pilot is typically a LCDR (O-4). By the time an officer is selected for CDR (O-5), they are typically not in the flight line. At the same time, provided they maintain their flight qualifications, CDR's can be pressed into flight service in emergent situations.
