Bad economics for the country.
No. Hoover vacuums were founded by a man named "Boss" Hoover, who purchased the patent from a man who suffered bad allergies, and invented a motorized "sweeper". They later added a suction motor, and it became a vacuum. The Hoover company was founded in the early 1900's.
Wu Mei was considered bad luck by her family because her mother died while giving birth to her. They told her that she "caused her mother's death" and that she must be bad luck.
~ Herbert Hoover ~Hoover is the 31st president of the United States. Hoover didn't participate into helping end the Great Depression. He is sort of a bad president, agree or not, he is horrible in my opinion. He died in New York City on October 20, 1964 and died by intestinal cancer, which is cancer in the stomach of the human body. Before I forget, Hoover is 5'11". Hoover is named after the shantytowns where people does nothing; 'Hoovervilles.' Sorry I gave you so much information about Hoover, Herbert. I am those history geeks. I hope this helps you a lot.
It is bad luck to be superstitious. It is bad luck to be superstitious. It is bad luck to be superstitious. It is bad luck to be superstitious.
Nothing
No they are not bad luck because Bad luck is not real
Some seem to think so. I think that the depression would have happened regardless, he just came into office at a bad time.
When something bad happens we say "What bad luck!"We do not say "What a bad luck!" because that is not correct in normal English usage.
Breaking glass is not good luck- it is bad luck. If you have bad luck coming your way, breaking glass will, according to superstition, eliminate it. Breaking glass, without any (bad luck) precursor, will supposedly manifest itself in only bad luck. Speaking in more detail, according to superstition, when one has bad luck coming his or her way, breaking a mirror works as a shield to bad luck. A mirror is a reflective device. When one breaks a mirror, it will reflect the bad luck of a broken mirror. But, when already in the presence of bad luck, it reflects the bad luck in the bad-luck dimension. Bad luck in the bad luck dimension is good luck, which we all obstinately have.
It is bad luck to break a mirror. There is no not bad luck in breaking a mirror.
Many say he was a bad president, but it was mostly bad timing. Before he became president he was head of Food administration and helped to feed millions of starving central Europeans. As soon as he became president the great stock market crashed and everyone blamed him for that. Then what really made people mad at him was when veterans gathered in Washington known as The Bonus March. Despite the fact that they were peaceful Hoover dispatched the police to remove them. When a riot broke out he ordered federal troops to help contain them. Instead of being contained the commander used tanks, tear gas, bayonets, and ordered troops to set fire to their shacks. A few veterans and even a few infants were killed, and once again hoover was blamed because he did not publicly criticize the commander. Over all Hoover was blamed for many things he had no control over simply because he was president.
