∙ 12y agoThe WWII Light Cruiser USS Houston (CL-81) and the Fleet Tug USS Pawnee (ATF-74) are the 2 ships associated with this phrase. Pawnee flashed a message to Houston after the cruiser was struck by Japanese torpedoes near Formosa, which said "We will stand by you".
