To avenge the events of 9/11, as well as extend the influence of capitalism and democracy. He also wanted to investigate/confiscate some nuclear warheads in the Middle East, as well as quell as many evildoers in the Arab nations as possible. As to the evildoers, he wanted to trace the attacks of 9/11 to a specific location in the Middle East, and stop Al Quaida as well as Osama bin Laden, and rescue the victims of terrorism. He also wished to aid the poor people in Iraq and Afghanistan with food and supplies. He did want and has beefed up the airport security nationwide, giving more stability to the airline personnel with firearms/handguns, as well as heighten the attention given to all who leave the country and all who come into the country from the Middle East.
I personally do not think that George W. Bush was a good President, He got us into an ugly war that has had rippling effects for years.
He was good at his Military job. And being a good president.
what did george w bush do as chief citizen
I am assuming you ment President. The United States of America President is currently George W. Bush, the president elect is Barack Obame. Good luck
Bush broke his promise and increased taxes.
He was the incumbent vice-president for the popular President Reagan. He was the heir-apparent , had a virtual lock on the nomination and seems to have a good chance of winning.
What do you think? NO
no
At the time of Nixon's resignation, George H.W. Bush was not yet President, but was Chairman of the Republican party. Despite having defended Nixon, when his guilt became evident, Bush formally requested that Nixon eventually resign for the good of the Republican party.
George W. Bush was the United States President when Barack Obama was elected president in 2008. Bush was elected into office in 2000 against Al Gore and won a reelection in the 2004 presidential race against John Kerry.
"good" is a relative term. No president has been able to please everybody and every president has his supporters. It will be many years before historians will be able to measure and evaluate Bush's time as president and even after they do, there will be people coming with new information and new opinions. He was beaten by Jimmy Carter in his re-election bid which is a strike against him, I suppose.
he wanted to make the united states a better place
