yes and he also took after his fathers footsteps becoming the first black airforce genaral
his sister in law vivienne Scott and her husband Lawrence melville had a son L Scott Melville who became an attorney and then a judge in Connecticut. the Scott sisters (3)were founding members of the black social organization the "gay northeasterners" in the 1920's of 30's which is still in existence. the word gay was dropped in the 1970"s.
